Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) will celebrate the graduation of its newest firefighter recruit class at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019. The graduation ceremony will take place at the MDFR Training Headquarters located in Doral, Florida.
After nearly eight months of training, the 21 trainees from Class #138 will officially receive their badges becoming full-time Miami-Dade Fire Rescue firefighters. These well-rounded future firefighters have gone through rigorous training and are uniquely skilled to not only fight fires and save property, but also to save people’s lives.
“It is with great pride and honor that I invite you to attend the graduation ceremony to welcome these new firefighters to our Department,” said Acting Fire Chief Arthur L. Holmes, Jr.
