REPORT:	Assistant County Attorney Abigail Price-Williams read the foregoing proposed resolution into the record. Chairman Moss opened the public hearing, and seeing no one appear wishing to speak in connection with this matter, he closed the public hearing. There being no questions or comments, the Board proceeded to vote.

TITLE
RESOLUTION CO-DESIGNATING NW 109TH AVENUE FROM NW 1ST STREET TO NW 4TH STREET AS �MCS VICTORS WAY�

BODY
WHEREAS, Miami Christian School was chartered by the State of Florida in 1954; and
WHEREAS, Miami Christian School was accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International in 1978 and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 2003; and
WHEREAS, the academic emphasis is on a well rounded program that stresses the skills in math and language arts as well as the spiritual growth through Bible studies; and
WHEREAS, Miami Christian School also accommodates ESOL students in elementary through high school; and
WHEREAS, the mascot for Miami Christian School is the Victors; and
WHEREAS, NW 109th Avenue from NW 1st Street to NW 4th Street is a County road located in unincorporated Miami-Dade County; and
WHEREAS, this Board would like to recognize Miami Christian School with this codesignation; and
WHEREAS, this proposed codesignation is located in County Commission District 12,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board:
Section 1. Having considered this matter at a public hearing, co-designates NW 109th Avenue from NW 1st Street to NW 4th Street as �MCS Victors Way.�
Section 2. Directs the Clerk of the Board to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the United States Postal Service, the Traffic Signals and Signs Division of the Public Works Department and Land Development Division of the Public Works Department, the Miami-Dade Police Department, and the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.
