young professionals working

As the County strives to attract and retain the best and brightest in our community, our goal is to reach high school, college and graduate students as they consider their career goals and potential employers. Through Miami-Dade County’s Internship Program, We Connect, We Thrive, our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the County as a premier organization and explore future careers in public service, gain valuable work experience, while experiencing firsthand, the impact Miami-Dade County has on our residents and the community at large.

Students will work alongside seasoned County employees at various levels within the organization to learn about departmental operations, foster intellectual curiosity and grow professionally.

Imagine your future thriving in Miami-Dade County.
