Adopt a shelter pet during "Clear the Shelters" tomorrow
As part of the NBC 6 and Telemundo 51 nationwide push to place shelter animals in forever homes, Miami-Dade Animal Services is participating in "Clear the Shelters" on Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., by waiving adoption fees (adopter responsible for $27 license fee) on all dogs and cats. Adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and age appropriate vaccines. Follow the #Cleartheshelters hashtag on social media to keep up with the latest news on the big event. Show a pet some love by giving them a forever home!
