Youth can be active all year long with Miami Dade County Parks' Fit2Play and Children's Trust after-school programs. After-school programs run from Aug. 15, 2024 through June 5, 2025 at different park locations throughout Miami-Dade County. These programs are also open for One-Day Camps on Teacher Planning Days, with the exceptions of Legal Holidays.
Fit2Play is a nationally acclaimed program for youth ages 6-14 with a grounded curriculum that was developed in 2009 to improve obesity in youth through active physical recreation and nutrition education. The curriculum also includes fun recreational games, lifetime sports (QuickStart tennis and SNAG golf), and nature-based conservation education.
There is a $15 non-refundable registration fee for Fit2Play programs, with a weekly fee of $35.
Registration is open now. Each after-school program has limited spots.
