Sign up your child for a winter camp, which take place from Dec. 23 through Jan. 3 (closed on December 25, 2024 and January 1, 2025).
Join us during Winter Break Camp for two weeks of full-day programming for children ages 6 -14! Camp locations will be open Dec. 23 through Jan. 3. Camps will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Our Fit2Play holiday breaks consist of themed Arts & Crafts and Culture, fieldtrips, SPARK, Social Emotional Learning, Nutrition Education, Sports, special guests and much more.
There is a one-time $15 registration fee (if not already registered in our Afterschool Program) and then a weekly fee of $45.
Camp Meal Plan Provided by Zoo Miami's Taste of the Wild catering service! Meal Plan includes a main dish and two sides.
Camp Adopt-an-Animal Bring home all the fun of Camp and support the Zoo's wildlife enrichment by adopting an animal! Each week will feature a different animal based on the week's activities. Discounted package includes plush animal, certificate of adoption, fact sheet, and animal photo by Ron Magill that will be sent home with your child at the end of the day.

The Deering Estate offers a winter break camp, which aligns with Miami-Dade County School scheduled winter break.
Every camp has a different theme and explores a different aspect of nature, allowing campers to have fun while also learning about different fields of science.
