Coconuts Music Festival

The widely popular "Coconuts Music Festival" returns to Haulover Beach Park on Sunday, Nov. 8! This exciting one-of-a-kind celebration of all things "coconut" is packed with family-oriented, beachside fun-in-the-sun and a day-long live concert, presented by the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department.

Performing bands include Mr. Nice Guy, Mojo Scoundrels and The Rockaholix.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy, including:

• craft displays to browse
• fresh husked coconut beverages for purchase
• and gourmet food truck vendors selling assorted tropical and Caribbean food items.
• fun and wacky coconut-themed games, such as "Coconut Shot-Put" and "Coconut Casting"

Activities will be held from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the great lawn, between Lot 1 and 2.

Admission is free. Parking is $7-car and $15-bus or RV. Proceeds from the 2015 Coconuts Music Festival will benefit the VFW's local efforts for Veterans; and the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade's efforts to improve and expand the tree canopy at Haulover Park, which includes planting new coconut palm trees.
