Join Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces during Spring Break for one week of full day programming. Camps will be open Monday, March 24 - Friday, March 28. Our Fit2Play holiday breaks consist of SPARK, Social Emotional Learning, Nutrition Education, Sports, Arts & Culture and much more.
Registration will begin Feb. 24. There is a one-time $15 registration fee (if not already registered in our Afterschool Program) and then a weekly fee of $45. There is a 10 percent sibling discount available.

Make a splash this spring break! Campers will dive into the wonders of aquatic life while exploring freshwater ecosystems, learning about the creatures that call them home. From interactive lessons to hands-on activities, they'll discover the incredible role water plays in nature. Plus, get ready to cool off and have some fun with visits to our splash pads, making this the perfect mix of learning and play. We offer an optional packed lunch add-on called Animeals! It includes a main dish, one side and a beverage, available at an extra cost during registration. Campers not opting for Animeals must bring their own packed lunch.Camp Adopt-An-Animal:
Bring home all the fun of camp and support the Zoo's wildlife enrichment by adopting an animal. Each Mini Camp will feature a different animal based on the day's activities. At Deering Estate Spring Camp, campers will get hooked on the world of marine biology and will reel in the fun while exploring our Mangrove Forests, Salt Marshes, and Seagrass Beds. Through dissections, experiments, crafts and hikes, campers will be diving into a week of aquatic exploration to emerge as coastal defenders. The camp is from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The cost is $225 for a five-day session. No daily rate is available. Register online.
Please bring lunch and snacks, refillable water bottle, closed-toe shoes, change of clothes, sunblock and bug spray, and hat and sunglasses.
