Metrorail Parking

You can buy a digital monthly parking permit at any EASY Card vending machine when purchasing a 1-Month Pass. 

To activate digital parking, a Transit Store account is required. You must register your license plate and associated it with an EASY Card. You can register multiple license plates, but only one may be active at a time.

You can also pay for your parking permit at the Transit Service Center or Overtown Transit Village North.

A digital monthly parking permit can also be purchased online at the Transit Store, as well when buying a 1-Month Metrorail Pass. Both items must be purchased by the 22nd day of the prior month, when purchasing a new EASY Card online. The 1-Month Pass will be mailed to you.

Golden Passport or Patriot Passport patrons can buy a digital monthly parking for $11.25 via the Transit Store. Riders with a state-issued parking permit or license plate for people with disabilities may park free in spaces designated for disabled riders.

No Metrorail parking facilities are available at Brickell, Government Center, Tri-Rail, Overtown Transit Village (OTV) and Civic Center stations. Although Metrorail doesn't offer parking at those stations, many municipal and privately-owned garages and surface lots are within walking distance. Costs may vary. MIA and Tri-Rail offer parking to their customers. Check with those agencies for parking fees, hours, and locations.

Metrorail parking garages are open from 5 a.m. to one hour passed midnight (1 a.m.), seven days a week.

Overnight parking is permitted at the Earlington Heights, Okeechobee and South Miami garages.

Only the Earlington Heights parking garage is accessible 24 hours a day. The Okeechobee and South Miami garages are only accessible during open hours.

• Metrorail parking is available to Transit customers only. You must board Metrorail or Metrobus to park at a Metrorail facility.
• Park in marked spaces only, head first. No back-in parking.
• Take note of your space number if paying for daily parking at the vending machine. There's no need to return to your car to place your receipt in the window.
• Parking citations will be issued to anyone who violates parking rules or fails to purchase a parking pass: daily or monthly.
• Monthly parking permits are only for riders who purchase a 1-Month Pass or patrons with a Golden or Patriot Passport.
• Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade Transit are not responsible for damage, theft or vandalism to vehicles or their contents.
• Riders with a state-issued parking permit or license plate for people with disabilities may park free in spaces designated for disabled riders.
