Occupational License is Now Local Business Tax Receipt
The Local Business Tax Receipt (formerly known as the Occupational License) is required by anyone operating a business within Miami-Dade County -- including one-person companies and home-based businesses.

New Streamlined Vendor Registration & Bid/Proposal Process Miami-Dade County has streamlined the process for accepting bids and proposals by requiring vendor affidavits only once - at the time of vendor registration, the new process goes into effect starting June 1.
