Help Line Available for Seniors The Elder Helpline provides a single contact point within Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties for people seeking the answers to questions about aging issues and the services and opportunities available to older adults.
Free Fitness Activities Fitness events are available free of charge for Miami-Dade County seniors. Pre-registration for the events is recommended as participation is limited and schedules are subject to change.

Adult Day Care Centers Miami-Dade County's Department of Human Services (DHS) provides adult day care for the frail, moderately handicapped or moderately confused older person or disabled adult over 18 years of age.
Services at Specialized Senior Centers Miami-Dade County's Department of Human Services (DHS) provides meals, recreation, health support, transportation, home care and care planning services through specialized senior centers.

Senior Citizen Property Tax Exemption Homeowners 65 and older who meet the prescribed household income requirements may be eligible for an additional property tax exemption of up to $50,000.
