The Marlins Adopt-O-Mania pet adoption event returns to Marlins Park June 13 with pet ''recruits'' from Miami-Dade County Animal Services
(MIAMI, June 9, 2015) – Miami-Dade County Animal Services and the Miami Marlins Ayudan Team, known as “The Voice”, will add cheers, woofs and meows during the pre-game “Marlins Ayudan Adopt-O-Mania” and Bark at the Park pet adoption and spay/neuter event taking place on Saturday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Miami Marlins Park, 501 Marlins Way (NW 16th Avenue and NW 6th Street) Miami, FL 33125.
The event features lots of pet "recruits" bringing their A-game so adopters can take home the win—a loving new furry companion. Adoption fees will be 50 percent off for dogs over four months old and all cats and kittens. Anyone adopting a pet at the event will receive tickets for two people and one dog for that day’s, June13, Marlins vs Rockies game, courtesy of the Miami Marlins. All pets adopted are spayed or neutered, given age appropriate routine vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped.
“This event is a great opportunity for Miami Marlins fans — and all the pet lovers in our community to adopt a dog or cat and share our commitment to saving the lives of shelter pets” said Alex Muñoz,” Director of Miami-Dade County Animal Services.
