Miami-Dade County Animal Services April 2015 pet adoption events calendar

(MIAMI, March 30, 2015) – In an effort to save the lives of shelter pets, Miami-Dade County Animal Services (Animal Services) hosts off-site adoption events to make it easier for the community to adopt loveable pets in need of forever loving homes.

Pet adoption fees at these events are reduced by 50 percent for all kittens, cats, dogs over four months and include spaying/neutering, deworming, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip and FIV & FeLV testing for cats.

Every year Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department (Animal Services) provides care and refuge for over 27,000 unwanted dogs and cats. Every day, Animal Services staff and volunteers work diligently to find life-long homes for these abandoned animals by facilitating onsite adoptions, hosting off-site adoptions at events and locations throughout the community, and working collaboratively with over 70 rescue organizations who share in our goal of a No Kill Miami-Dade County.
