Gail S. Posner contribution helps support Miami-Dade County Animal Services free spay/neuter events
(MIAMI, May 18, 2015) –Thanks to funds contributed by the Gail. S. Posner Trust to the Miami-Dade County Animal Services Trust Fund, to date, 46 dogs have been spayed or neutered at no cost to the pet owners during two spay/neuter surgery events that took place at J.D. Redd Park in Homestead, Florida on Saturday, April 11 and Saturday, May 9, 2015. The spay/neuter surgery packages sponsored through the Posner Trust also included free sterilization, microchip, canine distemper vaccine and rabies vaccines.
The Miami-Dade County Animal Services Trust Fund received a generous contribution in the amount of $150,000 from the Gail S. Posner Trust. The funds from the Posner Trust are being used to support Miami-Dade County Animal Services mobile spay/neuter clinic events and life-saving pet transports.
