UF/IFAS Miami-Dade County Extension to host "Gardening with Ladybugs" class April 8


(MIAMI, April 3, 2015) – The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources Cooperative Extension, in partnership with the University of Florida/IFAS and the Village of Palmetto Bay, will host a free “Gardening with Ladybugs” class at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, at the Thalatta Estate in Palmetto Bay.

Master Gardener Terri Stephen will teach participants how to recognize native ladybug species and their young, and how to attract them into their landscapes. They will also learn which plants are best for ladybugs and how they can keep some pests under control.

The Thalatta Estate is located at 17301 Old Cutler Road.
