(MIAMI, February 27, 2015) – Members of the 4-H District XIII Council will hold a 4K run/walk on March 7, 2015, as part of their project “4-Helping Hands,” which serves those who serve us. Students ages 8-18 from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties make up the Council.

This untimed race starts at 8 a.m., with check-in at 7 a.m. at Topeekeegee Yugnee Park, #12 Corporate Shelter, 3300 North Park Road, Hollywood.  The fundraiser website provides registration information and other details. After the race, there will be food, drinks, music, fun family activities and awards.

All proceeds will benefit the Armed Forces Foundation, whose mission is to support service members and their families during times of need and transitions to civilian life.
