Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust Committee and Full Trust meetings

(MIAMI, May 18, 2015) – The Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust (Transportation Trust) Joint Strategic and Financial Planning and Project and Financial Review Committee (JSFP/PFRC) and the full Transportation Trust will convene on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. respectively. The JSFP/PFRC will meet at 3:00 p.m. in the Transportation Trust Conference Room, Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW First Street, 10th Floor; Miami, Florida and the full Transportation Trust will meet at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Chambers, Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW First Street, Miami, Florida.
The upcoming Transportation Trust meetings are loaded with information on Surtax-funded transportation projects and Trust activities including a new park and ride lot on the South Miami-Dade Busway, installation of new traffic lights and a first look at the 2015 update of the PTP 5-Year Implementation Plan. Miami-Dade Transit will provide a status report in IT projects including the Computer Aided Dispatch/Automated Vehicle Locater (CAD/AVL) project which implements the Bus Tracker system bringing real-time Metrobus arrival information to riders.
