Commissioners Jean Monestime and Esteban Bovo Jr. to be installed during historic ceremony as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners

(MIAMI-DADE, FL) – County Commissioner Jean Monestime will be sworn in as Chairman of the Miami-Dade County Commission on Friday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. in the Commission Chambers at the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st St., Miami FL, 33128.

Chairman Jean Monestime, the first Haitian American to serve on the Board of County Commissioners, along with Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. who will be sworn in as Vice Chairman, will be joined by their colleagues, friends, family, and constituents as they begin their two-year terms.
