Commissioner Bastien to host Community Resource Fair on June 17

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Marleine Bastien will host the Community Resource Fair on Saturday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at Gwen Cherry Park, 7090 NW 22nd Ave., Miami, FL 33147.

Residents of Miami-Dade County’s District 2 are encouraged to take advantage of a variety of free services, including blood pressure checks, job resources from CareerSource South Florida, and financial literacy information. A “Kids’ Corner” will be available as well as access to a walk-thru grocery donation by Farm Share for those in need. Attendees can also participate in a workshop on the process to become a Miami-Dade County vendor.
