Commissioner Bastien to host District 2 Back-to-School events to help youth prep for the new school year

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Marleine Bastien will host two Back-to-School events for the District 2 community on Saturday, Aug. 12 at Gwen Cherry Park, 7090 NW 22nd Ave., Miami, FL 33147, and Sunday, Aug.13 at Oak Grove Park at 690 NE 159th St., Miami, FL 33162. Both events will begin at 10 a.m.

Backpacks and school supplies will be provided to youth while supplies last. To preregister to attend one of the events, call 305-342-0820, visit the District 2 Office, 915 NE 125th St., Suite 2A, Miami, FL 33161, or complete the District 2 Back-to-School event form.
