Commissioner Bastien will host District 2 Gratitude Feast and Turkey Giveaway events for Thanksgiving

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Marleine Bastien will host two Gratitude Feast and Turkey Giveaway events for the District 2 community on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Oak Grove Park, 690 NE 159th St., Miami, FL 33162 and Sunday, Nov. 19 at Arcola Lakes Senior Center, 8401 NW 14th Ave., Miami, FL 33147. Both events will begin at 11 a.m.

Free turkeys will be distributed to residents along with a free hot meal on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last on both days and at both locations. Commissioner Bastien is thrilled to celebrate this season of gratitude by giving back to the community, ensuring families have food to share during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Residents are encouraged to preregister for one of the two event dates by completing the District 2 Turkey Giveaway Event Form.
