Commissioner Bastien to host Capitalizing on the Cup: A Business Briefing in preparation for FIFA World Cup 2026TM Miami

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Marleine Bastien, in collaboration with the FIFA World Cup 2026TM Miami Host Committee, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), and the Miami-Dade Office of Innovation and Economic Development, is organizing an interactive event in anticipation of the FIFA World Cup 2026TM games in Miami. Capitalizing on the Cup: A Business Briefing will take place on Tuesday, March 18, at 5 p.m., at the Father Gerard Jean-Juste Community Center at Oak Grove Park, 690 NE 159th St., Miami, FL 33162.

With the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026TM, local businesses can equip themselves with the knowledge and strategies necessary to leverage significant economic opportunities during the international soccer tournament. The briefing will focus on the expected economic impact of the FIFA World Cup 2026TM to the area, specific business sectors that will benefit, potential partnerships and collaborations, and an overview of what to expect during the games.

An opportunity to network will start at 5 p.m. The briefing will begin at 6 p.m. and will be led by Tamara Béliard Rodriguez, Board of Directors member for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee.
