Commissioner Eileen Higgins to Celebrate the Grand Opening of New Downtown Dog Spot
MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Eileen Higgins, along with the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces and Transportation and Public Works departments, and the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA), are proud to announce the grand opening of the Downtown Dog Spot, an innovative and vibrant new space for dogs and their owners to enjoy within Miami's urban core.
The Dog Spot is open to the public and free for all to use. This project is part of Commissioner Higgins’ broader initiative to create community connections, enhance green spaces under the Metromover, and improve the overall quality of life for residents and visitors in District 5.
