Commissioner Eileen Higgins Launches Fifth Cohort of Marketing Accelerator Course in Collaboration with BizHack Academy
This course includes a bilingual option for small business owners in District 5 who prefer to receive instruction in Spanish
MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Eileen Higgins - District 5 is proud to announce the launch of the fifth cohort of the “AI Marketing Accelerator” course (formerly known as the “AI for Marketing and Sales” course), in partnership with Miami-based BizHack Academy. This transformative program equips businesses in District 5 with essential knowledge and skills to leverage artificial intelligence in their marketing and sales strategies. As part of Commissioner Higgins' Elevate District 5 initiative, the course is designed to support and strengthen small businesses within the district.

"We want to ensure that every small business in District 5 has access to the tools and knowledge they need to harness AI's potential. We’re proud to be able to offer this course for free, giving entrepreneurs the chance to enhance their operations, expand their customer base, and contribute to the growth of our community's economy."
The fifth cohort will run from March 4 to May 1, 2025, and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM via Zoom. The primary language of instruction will be English, but Spanish breakout rooms will be available for business owners who prefer to access the information in Spanish.
The “AI Marketing Accelerator” course offers participants practical insights and actionable strategies for integrating AI into their marketing and sales efforts. Up to 40 participating businesses will join this cohort for an eight-week journey featuring live sessions, hands-on workshops, real-life marketing campaigns, and personalized guidance from industry experts.

- Week 4: AI for Vibrant Videos
- Week 5: AI for Marketing Strategy
In past cohorts, participants achieved remarkable success, including hundreds of thousands of dollars in new revenue generated, a 129% increase in task completion using generative AI and a 75% boost in AI tool adoption. Nearly all participants reported saving time or money, with 68% reinvesting these savings into business growth opportunities, new customer acquisition, and more time spent with family.

Standout participant Elliot Durant of the Pure Water Factory credits his learnings from the AI Marketing Accelerator with earning him a six-figure client contract that could lead to national brand distribution for his product. “I’m going to double, triple, quadruple, my growth over this next year because of me learning this,” he said. “I've saved money. I've saved time, and time is your most valuable asset, as it never comes back.” He offered this advice: “I’m telling anybody I know that’s in small business, this course is a game changer.
