Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, West Miami Mayor Eric Diaz-Padron, Miami-Dade Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board, and CABA Pro-Bono to Host Citizenship Drive Event in West Miami for Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, in collaboration with West Miami Mayor Eric Diaz-Padron, Miami-Dade Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board and the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) Pro-Bono, announces a Citizenship Drive in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at the City of West Miami Commission Chambers.
“As the son of Cuban immigrants, I have firsthand experience of the transformative power of the American dream, and I will forever be grateful to this great country for the opportunities it has extended to me and my family,” said Commissioner Cabrera. “Becoming an American citizen not only grants the privilege of participating in our democracy, but also carries the responsibility of contributing to our national heritage. I would like to express my gratitude to Mayor Eric Diaz-Padron and the City of West Miami Commission, the Miami-Dade Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board, and CABA for your support in making this event a reality.”
