STATEMENT FROM MIAMI-DADE COUNTY COMMISSIONER KEVIN MARINO CABRERA

(Miami-Dade, FL) - I vehemently condemn the cowardly attack on President Donald J. Trump and our democracy. Violence has no place in our society, especially in our democratic processes where elections are decided in the polling place. I am profoundly thankful to our law enforcement agencies who responded swiftly and courageously. We must all stand together during these trying times. My thoughts and prayers are with President Trump, his family, and any other victims of this heinous crime. May peace and civility prevail in our nation.
