Commissioner Regalado hosts MIAbility event promoting neurodivergence acceptance and inclusion in the workplace

MIAMI-DADE – On Thursday, Oct. 26th Miami-Dade County Commissioner Raquel Regalado cordially invites members of the media to attend MIAbility, a panel discussion and event dedicated to fostering neurodivergence acceptance and inclusion in the workplace. Commissioner Regalado continues to be an advocate for inclusivity in all work environments.

“I am deeply committed to creating a Miami-Dade County where individuals of all abilities thrive together,” said Commissioner Regalado.

MIAbility, a celebration of Disability Employment Awareness Month, will ignite a powerful dialogue on the benefits of employing individuals with disabilities. The event will feature notable speakers, including Miami Dade County Commissioner Raquel Regalado, Vice President of Neurodiverse Solutions at CAI Anthony Pacilio, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of South Florida David Landsberg, Director of ACCESS Disability Services at Miami Dade College Mercy Macrina, and Principal Director of Inclusive Design at Microsoft Christina Mallon.
