Commissioner McGhee celebrates Juneteenth with 4th Annual Juneteenth Kickball Showdown

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee is hosting the 4th Annual Juneteenth Kickball Showdown on Saturday, June 29, to honor the history and culture of June 19, 1865. This event will take place at Sgt. Joseph Delancy Richmond Heights Park, 14450 Boggs Drive, Miami, FL 33176. Team registration opens for participants at 9 a.m., and the games begin at 9:45 a.m.

This celebration promises to bring together residents and visitors, starting with a thrilling kickball showdown, and will provide fun and entertainment for all ages, including a Kids’ Zone with face painting and free hamburgers and hot dogs.

Commissioner McGhee, alongside Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Black Lions MC, and the Pi Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, invites everyone to join the festivities and make this a memorable celebration for all.
