Vice Chairman Rodriguez to hold homebuyer information event

MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez is holding a homebuyer information event alongside Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera and State Representative Alina Garcia on Saturday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center, 7930 SW 40th St., Miami, FL 33155. The event will be presented by Debra Johnson-King, Community Development Branch Manager of The Mortgage Firm.

Potential homeowners will have the opportunity to learn more about home buying process, mortgage application process, and home inspection process. Creative financing options and credit issue fixes will also be discussed. Residents will also learn more about the Hometown Heroes Program, which is an affordable housing program for eligible frontline workers, educators, and military personnel. Attendees will also learn how they may qualify for up to $100,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance.
