Vice Chairman Rodriguez to host Live Like Bella Wheels of Hope vehicle wrap reveal
MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez, in partnership with the Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation, is hosting the Live Like Bella Wheels of Hope vehicle wrap reveal on Friday, Sept. 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center, located in Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St., Miami, FL 33155.
Vice Chairman Rodriguez sponsored a resolution, which passed during a Board of County Commissioners Meeting, to wrap at least one vehicle each from the Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM), Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), and the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department (MDFR) for the month of September to raise awareness of childhood cancer. He is encouraging the community to go gold to raise awareness throughout the month.
The County departments’ vehicles will be wrapped to show support of the Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation and its fight against childhood cancer. In 2013, Live Like Bella was established in memory of Bella Rodriguez-Torres, a 10-year-old girl who passed away after a long battle with cancer. She inspired people around the world to live with compassion and serve others during her six-year battle.
