Saddle up for Miami-Dade CountryFest on April 20 and 21
MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez is inviting residents to attend Miami-Dade CountryFest on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21 at Tropical Park’s Ronald Reagan Equestrian Center, 7900 SW 40th St., Miami, FL 33155.
This event is open to the public, and attendance is free by registering at MDCountryFest.com. Doors open at 10 a.m., and the event runs until 7 p.m. The rodeo begins at 3:30 p.m. both days. Rodeo spectators must purchase a ticket at $15 per seat. These tickets are available at an extremely limited capacity.
Miami-Dade CountryFest will feature a live rodeo, Farmville, Pioneer Play Zone, Vendor Valley, the Round Up Stage, livestock shows, horse shows, and a variety of food and drinks. Farmville will be an interactive and educational experience for visitors to get hands-on in the world of agriculture and get a taste of what life is like on the farm. The Round Up Stage will be featuring performances throughout both days. Local band Whiskey Allstars will be performing on Saturday. Country music artist Orlando Mendez, known in South Florida as the Cuban Cowboy, will perform on Sunday. He also starred in Season 22 of “The Voice.”
