Vice Chairman Rodriguez and Feeding South Florida to host drive-thru food distribution

MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez is giving back to the community at a drive-thru food distribution as a special volunteer with Feeding South Florida alongside Speaker-Designate Daniel Perez and State Senator Alexis Calatayud. This drive-thru food distribution event will take place on Wednesday, May 29, from 9 to 11 a.m., at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St., Miami, FL 33155.

Vice Chairman Rodriguez is joining Feeding South Florida on their mission to end hunger by providing access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.

Feeding South Florida serves 25 percent of the state’s food insecure population within South Florida, aligning with their vision of having a hunger-free South Florida, which enables families to transition from dependency to self-sufficiency.
