Vice Chairman Rodriguez announces 2024 Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program for District 10 business owners
MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez, in partnership with Neighbors And Neighbors Association (NANA), is inviting small business owners in District 10 to apply for the annual Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program. Applicants may be eligible to receive up to $5,000 per business for purchasing equipment, supplies, inventory, commercial liability insurance, security systems, advertising, marketing, making minor renovations, salaries/wages, and rent/mortgage.
Applications will be available from July 8 through July 19 at the District 10 Office, 7146 SW 117th Ave., Miami, FL 33183, or can be downloaded directly from www.miamidade.gov/district10
All businesses must be located in District 10 and meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Business must be in operation for at least 1 year.
- Must be a for-profit business.
- A physical address is required. No P.O. Box as mailing address allowed.
- Home-based businesses can apply.
There will be an in-person informational workshop on July 17 at 10 a.m. at the Westchester Regional Library, First Floor Auditorium, 9445 SW 24th St., Miami, FL 33165.
Applicants can hand deliver completed applications in a sealed envelope from July 22 through July 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., to the District 10 Office, 7146 SW 117th Ave., Miami, FL 33183. No late applications will be accepted.
