Community meeting on $13.5 billion water and sewer upgrade

(MIAMI-DADE COUNTY) – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz and the County’s Water and Sewer Department will host a Community Meeting to discuss the Sewer Department’s $13.5 billion Capital Improvement Program on Tuesday, July 21 at 7 p.m. at IAFF Local 1403, 8000 NW 21st Street, downstairs ballroom, in Miami.

Staff will explain how the project will affect residents and provide information about contract opportunities for small businesses.

The project involves upgrading thousands of miles of pipes, pump stations and water and wastewater treatment plants.
