Senator García hosts Back-to-School Festival for District 13


MIAMI-DADE – TOMORROW, Senator René García will host a Back-to-School Festival for Miami Dade County Commission District 13 students to start the school year with the necessary tools to succeed. Families are invited to join the fun on Saturday, August 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Victor Wilde Park, 1701 W 53rd Terrace, Hialeah, FL 33012.

Residents will enjoy free bookbags filled with school supplies (while supplies last), haircuts, food, water slides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more. Senator García hopes to see the community come together to end the summer with a blast and help students kick-start the school year prepared and ready to achieve excellence.
