Miami-Dade Fire Rescue host Ocean Rescue Open House

Free and fun for the entire family


(MIAMI, May 15, 2015) – You see us every day, but here’s the chance to meet us face-to-face. Get to know Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) Ocean Rescue and learn about what we do in an interactive day of fun and learning. The Open House will take place at Haulover Lifeguard Station located at 13731 Collins Ave., Saturday, May 16, 2015, beginning at 10 a.m.

Throughout the day, guests will be provided with an inside look at public safety through live ocean rescue and fire safety demonstrations along with informational booths, and static equipment displays. The community will also have an opportunity to meet the men and women behind our world-class operations and experience the challenging scenarios they encounter on a daily basis.
