Emily Gresham is the Assistant Vice President for Research, Innovation and Economic Development at FIU and the Co-Founder of StartUP FIU. She has been with FIU for over ten years in various roles in Advancement and Academic Affairs before joining the Office of Research and Economic Development in 2015.
In her current role, Emily oversees innovation and entrepreneurship at FIU and works on strategic partnerships that promote economic development with corporations, startups, nonprofit and governmental agencies. Prior to FIU, Emily spent nearly eight years in Development at the University of Miami and served as the Vice President for Development at The Miami Foundation. In her twenty-year career, Emily has raised over $100 million for various projects.
