Trail Glades Sport Shooting Range to close on Tuesday for culvert repairs
(MIAMI, January 14, 2015) - On Tuesday, January 20, 2015, the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department will temporarily close the Trail Glades Sport Shooting Range, located at 17601 SW 8 Street in Miami, to complete work on a culvert repair project. The culvert is an aqueduct that runs under the entrance road to the shooting range. This roadway will need to be completely closed off in order to carry out the needed construction. During this work, the utilities will be powered off; therefore there will be no public admittance or access to Range activities.
On Wednesday, January 21, the Range will re-open to the public, as per the regular weekday/weekend schedule:
- Tuesdays, 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. (Cease Fire, 8:30 p.m.)
- Wednesdays, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Cease Fire, 5:30 p.m.)
- Thursdays and Fridays, 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. (Cease Fire, 8:30 p.m.)
- Saturdays and Sundays: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Cease Fire, 5:30 p.m.)
