"Miami-Dade Marina SMS Alerts" helps boaters plan ahead for safe recreational trips
(MIAMI, April 22, 2015) — With the summer boating season just around the corner, the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department advises boaters to plan and prepare for a safe day on the water by signing up for “Miami-Dade Marina SMS Alerts.” This service keeps boaters up-to-date on such issues as hazardous weather conditions and boat ramp closures and re-openings, via text alerts to their email or mobile phone.
