The Miami-Dade Police Department will be hosting a press conference to announce an arrest on a 16-year-old homicide case. The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Homicide Bureau, Cold Case Unit, along with MDPD Forensic Services Bureau, and in conjunction with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, have made an arrest in a 16 year-long homicide investigation. Please join Director Alfredo Ramirez III, along with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office as they announce the arrest of Raul Mata, for the murder of Dilcia Mejia. Attending Guests: Alfredo Ramirez III, Director, Miami-Dade Police Department Jorge Aguiar, Major, Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau Abbe Rivkin, A.S.A., Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office Social Distancing and Masks are required while on premises.
