Providing a comfortable setting for victims, their loved ones, police officers and support staff.

Please join us for the unveiling of the recently remodeled meeting rooms inside the Fred Taylor Miami-Dade Police Headquarters.
The work of a police officer involves many aspects, some that often go unnoticed. These improved spaces will have an array of functionalities and serve as a private, calm and comforting setting, where Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) police officers and support staff can meet with victims, witnesses and families experiencing tragedy. The rooms will also support operations during natural disasters, critical incident planning and staging for the MDPD and outside agencies. Staff will also utilize these rooms as a relaxed space to enjoy their breaks. Miami-Dade County and the MDPD are thankful for the philanthropic gesture extended by the José Milton Foundation and their coordination with local community partners to make this possible. We are one community and together we can all accomplish more.
The Honorable Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava and Miami-Dade County Commissioners are anticipated to attend the unveiling.
