The Miami-Dade Police Department announces a partnership with Nextdoor (www.nextdoor.com), the free and private social network for neighborhoods, to build stronger, safer communities with the help of residents.  Director J.D. Patterson will speak about the collaboration, which will enable MDPD to use Nextdoor to strengthen neighborhood crime watch and share important safety updates, emergency notifications, news, services and programs with Miami-Dade County neighborhoods.
