Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Campaign |

The Miami-Dade Police Department is collaborating with the Florida Department of Transportation, through the University of North Florida to enforce traffic laws and educate the public on the topic of pedestrian and bicyclist safety, and driver behavior in Miami-Dade County. Officers will conduct on-street education, distributing educational materials to the public, as well as enforcement operations. The main objective of this effort is to reduce traffic crashes that result in serious and fatal injuries to pedestrians and bicyclists.
