Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department's (MDPD) Homicide Bureau are investigating a shooting that left a father injured and his 8 year old daughter in critical condition.
According to investigators, shortly before 5 o'clock Sunday evening officers responded to a shooting at 10127 NW 25 Avenue. Once arrival, they discovered a young girl suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported both victims to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The young girl is currently listed in critical condition and her father in stable condition.
Investigators are looking for a black 4-door Ford sedan, possibly a Fusion or Focus.
