Traffic advisory: Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department to conduct needed maintenance repairs, close lanes on William M. Powell Bridge on Rickenbacker Causeway

(MIAMI, February 11, 2015) – The Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) is conducting needed maintenance repairs on the William M. Powell bridge of the Rickenbacker Causeway on Wednesday, February 11, 2015.  The repair work requires the closure of two westbound vehicular lanes.  These repairs to the bridge joint are necessary to eliminate possible damage to the motoring public’s vehicles.  The bicycle path and one vehicular lane (the left lane) will remain open during these repairs. 

The repair work and lane closures should be completed by this evening.
