Traffic advisory: Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department to conduct road work along SW 26 Road from South Miami Avenue to the Rickenbacker Toll Plaza

(MIAMI, February 26, 2015) – The Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) is performing milling and resurfacing work along SW 26 Road from South Miami Avenue to the Rickenbacker Causeway toll plaza today, Thursday, February 26, and on Friday, February 27, 2015 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The work will take place on two vehicle travel lanes each day along SW 26 Road. During the milling and resurfacing activities, two through-vehicular travel lanes and one left turn lane will remain open at all times. While the timing of work has been scheduled to avoid the peak rush hour period, motorists may experience traffic delays and are asked to allow for additional travel time if using the affected roads.
