Traffic advisory: Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department to conduct maintenance inspections and close a lane on the William M. Powell Bridge on Rickenbacker Causeway

(MIAMI, March 3, 2015) – The Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) will be performing maintenance inspections of the bridge joint on the William M. Powell Bridge of the Rickenbacker Causeway on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.

The inspections will take place on the eastbound vehicle travel lanes (entering the causeway), between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and midnight. During the inspection activities, one vehicular travel lane will remain open at all times. While the timing of the inspections has been scheduled to avoid the rush hour period, motorists may experience traffic delays.
