Traffic advisory: Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department to conduct maintenance, close lane on William M. Powell Bridge on Rickenbacker Causeway

(MIAMI, March 17, 2015) – The Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) will be performing maintenance on the guardrail along the William M. Powell Bridge of the Rickenbacker Causeway on Wednesday, March 18, 2015.

The guardrail maintenance activities will take place on the westbound vehicle travel lane (exiting the causeway), between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 3 a.m. During the maintenance activities, one vehicular travel lane will remain open at all times. While the timing of the maintenance has been scheduled to avoid the rush hour period, motorists may experience traffic delays.
