Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department to provide regular waste service on Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 25, 2015
(MIAMI, May 22, 2015) – Waste collection and disposal customers of the Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) are reminded that all services will be provided as normal on the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 25, 2015.
Curbside Garbage and Recycling Collection Services
All service will take place as normally scheduled on the holiday. Residents whose service day falls on Monday, May 25, 2015 are reminded to place their carts at the curb by 7 a.m., Monday.
Trash and Recycling Centers and Bulky Waste Pickup
The Department's 13 Trash and Recycling Centers will observe normal hours of operation on Monday, May 25, 2015.
Disposal Facilities
The Department's disposal facilities, to include the Landfills, the Resources Recovery Facility, and Transfer Stations, will observe normal hours of operation on Monday, May 25, 2015.
Administrative Offices
The Department's administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2015.
