Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management Memorial Day 2020 Holiday Waste Collection, Recycling, and Disposal Facility Schedule

The Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) has released the schedule of services for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.

Curbside Waste and Trash Collection Service

DSWM WILL collect waste and trash on Monday, May 25, 2020, as scheduled. Customers who are serviced on Mondays are advised to place their green waste carts at the curb by 7 a.m. on May 25, 2020.

Curbside Recycling Collection Service

Curbside recycling collection service WILL take place on Monday, May 25, 2020, as scheduled. Miami-Dade curbside recycling service customers whose recycling collection day falls on that day are advised to place their blue recycling carts at the curb by 7 a.m. on May 25, 2020.

Disposal Facilities

The following DSWM facilities will be OPEN on Monday, May 25, 2020, and will observe normal operating hours:

• All disposal facilities including:
  • All Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers
  • North and South Dade Landfills
  • Central, West and Northeast Regional Transfer Stations
  • Resources Recovery Facility

In compliance with Miami-Dade County Emergency Order 20-20, all persons visiting the Department of Solid Waste Management’s Disposal Facilities, Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers and the Home Chemical Collections Centers are required to wear a facial covering or mask. Gloves are recommended but not required.

Administrative Offices

The DSWM Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2020.
